We have been living in, doing business and playing golf around Marrakech for 8 years now. We have seen numerous golf courses opened and watched Marrakech developing into a serious premium golf destination.

From the outset we have discussed the opportunity to provide bespoke packages to enable groups, consisting exclusively of golfers or made up of both golfers and non-golfers, to enjoy not only the golf but also the Marrakech and its surrounding areas which we know and love. In other words something different to the usual golf tour. We have spoken to golfers that have been to Marrakech and whilst enjoying the golf have been disappointed by their experience which has lacked the advice and organisation required to properly experience this wonderful culture. No-one seems to have really addressed this to date, so having talked about it, we actually decided to do something and established More Than Golf Marrakech.

We are well qualified to do this. Our founders, Nick and Steve would be described as average golfers!  They met at university in the 1980’s on a hospitality management degree. Both have worked extensively in the hospitality and travel industries throughout the world and are passionate about customer service. Having owned a hotel in Cape Town, Nick relocated to Marrakech and 8 years ago established the successful Erg Chigaga Luxury Desert Camp which provides a unique experience for independent travellers in the Sahara Desert. This has given us the knowledge to establish More Than Golf Marrakech.

Julianne, our on the ground concierge, has lived and worked in Marrakech for nearly 10 years now and will look after our client’s needs when in Marrakech. She has extensive knowledge of what to do, where to go and how to get there!!! She shares our passion for ensuring our clients get the very best experience whilst in Marrakech.
